Young Inventors Develop Helmet to Protect Frontline Workers from COVID-19

Three young inventors from Viet Nam are helping to protect frontline workers against COVID-19 with an innovative ventilated helmet. Invented by An (15), Duc (18) and Phuc (14), VIHELM combines safety and comfort featuring a filtration system, peripheral visors, and more.
“We wanted to do something that could help the world deal with COVID-19, and we hope that VIHELM can be used by those who need it for the greater good." – Duc, VIHELM inventor and team leader, told us.
As WIPO IP Youth Ambassadors An, Duc and Phuc are promoting the importance of intellectual property to other young inventors and creators in their region.
